Shortly after arriving on the southern continent, Craig used some of his new wealth to pay the entry fee for Tilford Manor. The Paradise oligarchs approved the transfer in the hope of using him and his men to shore up the city-states porous southern border.
Total acres=~3,000 acres (~2000 arable; ~400 acres of woodland; ~100 acres of meadows or pastures; ~400 acres wasteland; ~100 acres covered by gardens, structures, or roads). Nearby forest is unclaimed and available for logging, but the presence of bandits and pokkirs add danger for logging parties (having guards and scouts is advisable). An abandoned mine rests within the boundaries of his fief; danger and a lack of defensible manpower and capital forced its abandonment, but it still theoretically can produce ores.

The mine (in nearby hills) near Craig’s manor house and the village of Tilford is a good one. When he recaptured it and brought it back into production, his miners and smelters began to extract hundreds of pounds of gold and silver per month from its ores.
Certainly within great households (baronial households and up) and within many other affluent households, one room would serve as the location for daily sewing and embroidery. Mothers, daughters, ladies, and seamstresses would spend significant time in this room.
